Will Ospreay hits Swerve Strickland during a match at AEW Forbidden Door on June 28, 2026 (AEW)

Strickland knew what the game plan was. He needed to slow Ospreay’s attack to a snail’s pace and bring the match closer to him instead of trying to match his opponent’s agility. For the most part, it limited Ospreay’s attack. But as the match progressed, the blows became stronger, both men were bleeding and at the end one of them raised his hand.

Both men gave their all. With blood dripping down their faces, Osprey and Strickland stared at each other in the ring. Ospreay had The Death Riders cheering him on in the ring while Strickland had Prince Nana in his corner. I was reaching the end.

If All In were tomorrow, Ospreay would face MJF for the AEW World Championship on August 30. There’s still plenty of time for that opponent to change, but for now Ospreay has his sights set on MJF.
